About Jen

 

Jen Moore holds an Interdisciplinary Masters degree and has been teaching for over ten years. She teaches both on-line and face-to-face college level courses in Women’s Studies, Sociology, Interdisciplinary Studies, and Globalization. She also teaches groundbreaking race education courses. Ms. Moore establishes a collaborative learning environment, often experiential, where student ideas count as contributions to knowledge. Her classroom is a safe place where students feel comfortable and respected while at the same time challenged and engaged to think critically. Ms. Moore draws on readings and media which contain cultural diversity emphasizing production by women, BIPOC, LGBTQ+ and other underrepresented, oppressed groups.
