The Kitchen Table:
Feeding Community, Inspiring Action

The kitchen table is where the personal meets the political, where movements are born in quiet conversations and the resolve to change the world is set.”

A Quarterly Gathering for Renewal, Resistance & Collective Power

The kitchen table has always been a place of gathering—a space where stories are shared, strategies are born, and movements take root. The Kitchen Table: Feeding Community, Inspiring Action is a quarterly gathering where we come together to connect, restore our spirits, and build a future rooted in justice and care.

Why We Gather

To Build Community & Connection – We are not alone. In these times of division and uncertainty, we come together to create a network of care, solidarity, and collective strength.

To Not Just Survive, But Thrive – Resistance isn’t just about fighting back—it’s about building something better. We refuse to be defeated. We will dream, create, and grow a future where we all thrive, not just endure.

To Resist & Protect Democracy – The Trump administration and its legacy continue to threaten our rights, communities, and democracy itself. We gather to strategize, mobilize, and take meaningful action to defend what matters most.

To Learn & Create – Be introduced to creative strategies that fuel activism, storytelling, and social change. Art, culture, and imagination are powerful tools in the fight for justice.

To Coalition Build – We know the fight for justice is intersectional. Connect with like-minded individuals and organizations, find opportunities for collaboration, and expand the movement.

To Care for Ourselves & Each Other – Activism is sustainable when we take care of ourselves and our people. Together, we’ll explore radical self-care, rest, and community well-being.

To Experience Joy – Play, laughter, and celebration are acts of resistance. We gather not just to struggle but to reclaim our joy, to nourish our spirits, and to remind ourselves of the future we are fighting for.

All revolutions are first hatched in the minds of the oppressed at kitchen tables."
