2022 Social Justice
Virtual Book Club
One of my favorite things to do is read! And better still is to share my love of books with others.
We are back for our second year and this time for a full year of reading! For 2022 I’ve selected a variety of books for us to dive into: fiction, memoir, social commentary, history, science fiction, biography, anthology, essay, literary analysis, and personal growth. I have selected a unique collection of books to educate, inspire and motivate. This year we shine a light on the African American experience, the civil rights movement and its leaders, women’s rights movement, personal storytelling and healing.
How it works:
Register below. You can join for one month or several or register for the entire year.
$21 each month or $149 for the year (over a $100 savings when you sign up for the year)
Read the book before our two-hour zoom call and come prepared to talk, listen, and learn from the ideas presented in each book. I will guide us in meaningful exploration of topics as we grow and learn together. Zoom calls are held on the last Wednesday of each month from 5:00pm -7:00pm PST. The zoom link will be sent via email before the scheduled meeting time.

I encourage you to purchase your books from a black owned or feminist bookstore.
