Two Cohorts: Tuesdays 2pm-4pm or Thursdays 10am-12noon (see below for dates)

Unpacking Whiteness, Seeing Race is an on-line course in which students discover the origins of race, understand whiteness and white culture, develop a deeper understanding of racism in the United States, learn of the various impacts of race on white and BIPOC people, discover socialization factors, personal biases, interrogate microaggressions and much, much more.

In this race education course students receive weekly presentation materials in the form of a pdf presentation that leads them through learning modules which include articles, videos, films, and other tools to engage deeply in this work.

This course consists of the same components each week:

  • A pdf presentation packed with readings and videos for you to engage with throughout the week

  • Community discussion boards

  • Weekly zoom calls
