Virtual Book Club
One of my favorite things to do is read! And better still is to share my love of books with others.
Welcome to our fourth year of reading together as a community! Many of us are looking for connection, conversation, and community and our little corner of the internet strives to do just that. For 2024 I’ve selected a variety of books with this in mind. In 2024 we will read: fiction, memoir, social commentary, poetry, and personal growth.
We are an unfussy group of readers: read the book, listen to it, or come to the conversation with only a chapter or two read. What matters most is that we are a community coming together to connect and share.
I’ve mindfully chosen books that are available in paperback, on Libby (free library service for books and audiobooks), and on Audible.
How it works:
Register below. You can join for one month or several or register for the entire year.
$21 each month or $149 for the year (over a $100 savings when you sign up for the year)
No one will be turned away due to lack of funds. Email me @jmomoore@gmail.com for a special code to enter at checkout.
Read the book before our two-hour zoom call and come prepared to talk, listen, and learn from the ideas presented in each book. I will guide us in meaningful exploration of topics as we grow and learn together. Zoom calls are held on the last Wednesday of each month from 5:00pm -7:00pm PST. The zoom link will be sent via email before the scheduled meeting time along with discussion questions.
After each call, you will receive the recorded zoom meeting link to view our discussion. You also will receive an email filled with resources for deeper study as they relate to that month’s reading.

It will take you to the registration page in which you can select from the drop-down menu either an annual membership or you purchase separately by month. Then you will scroll up to the top of the page and click on your shopping cart which will take you to the purchase page.

2024 Social Justice Book Club Gift Card
For the readers in your life, give them a gift that lasts all year long—an annual book club membership.
